jennifer copeland
JENNIFER Copeland is a Professor of Kinesiology at the University of Lethbridge in Alberta. Her research focuses on healthy aging, and public health initiatives that promote physical activity. Dr. Copeland is the project lead for SWYC and oversees the implementation of the project in Alberta.
Shilpa dogra
SHILPA Dogra is an expert in the area of active aging, age-friendly communities, and sedentary behaviour. As an exercise scientist at the Ontario Tech University in Ontario, she has led several community-based interventions in partnership with local seniors’ centers in the Durham Region. She will be overseeing the Ontario arm of the project.


danielle bouchard
DANIELLE Bouchard is an Associate Professor of Kinesiology at the University of New Brunswick. Her experience in exercise science and gerontology have guided her research in healthy aging. She will be overseeing the implementation of the tool-kit in New Brunswick.
paige pope
PAIGE Pope is an Assistant Professor of Kinesiology at the University of Lethbridge in Alberta. Her expertise in communication motivation, and healthy behaviour change has guided the development of the tool-kit to ensure that it is accessible to older adults, their families, and staff in assisted living alike.
