LE T ' S C E L E B R A T E ST. PADDY'S DAY with HUNT FOR THE GOLD

 

1. Cut out pots of gold and gold coins. There should be 8 gold coins for each group, one of each letter. Print more coins if needed.

2. Tape pots of gold on walls around residence leaving the top open (instructions below).

3. Fill each pot with coins of the same letter (Ex. Pot 1 = R coins).

4. Instruct residents that there are 8 gold coins to find that will spell out a coded message.

5. Following the hunt, all groups who have uncoded the message can collect a prize!
   (Chocolate coins would work well here)

 

Set up: SWYC Ambassador 15-20 minutes
Activity Time: 1-2 Days ( Saturday & Sunday)
Participants: Any number of Residents, Groups or Family teams
